What to Expect From Our Work Together:

In my work as a counselor I assist individuals in approaching a stronger and healthier sense of self and personal empowerment. When we can understand, accept, and value ourselves, we find greater joy and satisfaction. With this insight we can create the changes we want to see in our life, as well as stronger more fulfilling relationships with others. I treasure providing clients a safe space to voice struggles, fears, challenges, pain, and suffering that is judgment free. I believe each person has the power to make the changes they desire, helping them access that power and the resources needed is a focus of my therapy.

Work History:

I have over 25 years experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings. Some of which include adolescent work in the public schools and private sector, group and individual counseling at Rainrock/Monte Nido affiliate - a residential treatment center, instructing and counseling at Lane Community College both in the Counseling Center and Women's Program, and finally my private counseling practice which I started in 2008.

I highly value my experiences in each of these settings. Each has provided me with excellent training and experience in helping others access answers to the individual challenges they face. I've been honored to have had the opportunity to meet these individuals throughout the years. With each, I have been taught important lessons, saw such strength and beauty, and strengthened my belief that all human beings have an amazing capacity to move through this life with power and purpose.
