A Little About Me:

I grew up in Southern California and have lived in many different places throughout the US. I have always been drawn to the Pacific Northwest and I am so excited to finally plant my roots here and engage in this work that is so very meaningful to me. I’ve been working in the mental health field for the past 15 years and my professional experiences have only served to further my belief in the inherent worthiness and resilience of every human being. In my free time I like to get lost in nature, spend time with friends and family, color, spoil my cat, and research dog rescue sites for a new addition to our family.

My Philosophy:

I believe that every individual has a core, healthy and whole self that has remained untouched and undamaged, even through the most difficult of life experiences. I believe that every human is capable of miraculous healing and transformation when provided a safe space where all aspects of the self are welcomed, embraced, and celebrated.

Often times when we arrive to therapy, we are wrestling with complex life questions, carrying guilt/shame for things we may have done, or managing undercurrents of stress due to difficult experiences we have had. As your therapist, I provide a space for you that is safe and free of judgment or agenda. Within this container, I encourage you to bring forth what is most on your mind and heart.

Every individual has a unique life path; what may feel right to one person will not necessarily feel right for another. I believe healing is about connecting to and embracing who we really are and what we want from life, as well as assigning meaning to our experiences that help us to grow and feel cared for. Together, I help you discover and connect to what feels most authentic and true and for you.

Ultimately, our work together is designed to culminate in your ability to thrive in life, feel safe and at peace in your own skin, and develop and maintain healthy relationships with loved ones who will travel beside you in this journey of life. I look forward to meeting you!
