About Me:
My decision to become a therapist was influenced by my love for people and my work with clients in nursing homes, domestic violence shelters, LGBTQ+ organizations, & day care and family support centers. My own experience with excellent therapists also influenced my decision to pursue this career. Therapy changed my life. It provided the safe space I needed to process grief, explore my thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and create a life I longed for. I am passionate about paying it forward and using the therapeutic process to help others create a life they love.

My family and I were awestruck by the Pacific Northwest while vacationing years ago, and I am excited to now make it my home! In my free time, I enjoying family gatherings, reading, hiking, playing with pets, tending houseplants, juggling, and practicing permaculture.
Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:
I use a flexible approach to help clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, climate grief, coming out, divorce, empty nest, faith transitions, issues related to aging, and the loss of a loved one. I draw from a variety of modalities, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapy to help clients move through the pain and get on with the important work of building a beautiful life. I speak from experience when I assure you there is light on the other side. I’ll walk with you there.
