About Me:
A little bit about me is that I enjoy gardening and taking care of my plants in my free time. I also have a dog whom I love spending time with!
Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:
I work with individuals and families from a systemic and strengths-based perspective. I am interested in multiple areas of your life, such as your family, your social experiences, your beliefs about the world, etc. As human beings, we cannot exist independently from one another. I believe our relationships and our experiences shape who we are and what we know, and that we are constantly influencing and being influenced by those around us. A better understanding of your world enables me to have a better understanding of you and who you are.
I also operate from a person-centered approach. I believe that people are the experts in their own lives, and I believe that they have the resources and strengths to make positive changes in their lives. My job is to support you in making the positive changes you deem important for yourself and your family. I utilize primarily solution focused therapy and narrative therapy in my work. With our time together, we will work towards goals determined by you (the client) and we will work towards those goals by focusing on your strengths and resources.
