About Me:
I love being outside and spending time with my dogs and partner. My happy place is anywhere I can find Thai food and coffee! When I'm not playing in the mountains which I now call home, you'll find me at the beach - my second home! I am constantly humbled by the ways those I work with teach me and make me a better human, and I believe we all have within us the innate, resilient power to heal ourselves.
Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:
I enjoy working with teens, adults, and families as well as LGBTQ+ individuals. My passion is working with clients who are experiencing persistent mental illness, and I am a fierce advocate for my clients and believe the therapeutic relationship thrives on genuine empathy and nonjudgment, which supports change. I have training in DBT, CBT, and TF-CBT. I am also experienced in working with youth and families who are systems-involved and individuals struggling with trauma. I enjoy working with clients to improve their quality of life by healing trauma and challenging unhelpful patterns of behavior and thought.

I like to follow person-centered and feedback-informed approaches, and I place strong value on checking with clients to make sure treatment is working for them and consistently seeking feedback from clients, as I believe in a collaborative process. My belief is that a trusting and nonjudgmental therapeutic alliance promotes desired change and allows for the evidence-based interventions to flourish.
