A Little About Me:
Growing up in Hawaii has influenced my deep appreciation and respect for people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities and beliefs. While Hawaii will always be my heart’s home, Eugene is my new beloved abode where I enjoy time in nature, reading and learning, hiking, soaking up the coastal ions and relaxing with my favorite people and animals. I am grateful to serve in such a rewarding field with brave people, who continually kindle my awe in our resilient human spirit. It is my honor to be of support on a journey toward healing and return to one’s innate
wholeness..
My Philosophy:
I believe that we are intrinsically whole, and our common human journeys are a return to that truth. My therapeutic approach is holistic, person-centered and body-oriented with a deep trust and respect in one’s inherent dignity, wisdom and compassionate capacity to heal and connect with oneself and others.
I am open-minded, empathically engaged, and I work from a sensitive trauma-informed lens of curiosity and collaboration. An appreciation of the therapeutic relationship as a tool of self-reflection, courage and positive change is at the heart of my work with individuals.
You know yourself best, and I aim to deeply listen. I aim to cultivate a safe and supportive space of open presence, respect, and acceptance in which you feel encouraged to explore challenges and parts of yourself that yearn to feel heard, seen and validated. I gently guide you at your unique pace toward identifying unhelpful patterns and barriers, deepening self-awareness and developing trust in your inner resources.
