About Me:

I have the privilege of calling California my birthplace, where sunny days were a constant. However, my journey brought me to Oregon during my school years, and it is here that I have made my home. With over seven years of experience in the client-helping field, my professional path began in juvenile probation, igniting a deep passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

I am an avid reader and appreciate the power of literature providing an escape into different worlds. Exploring different cultures, traditions, and landscapes through travel is an enriching and most favorable experience for me. I have a deep passion for trying new foods and flavors from diverse culinary traditions. Nature has always held a special place in my heart, and I find solace and rejuvenation in the great outdoors. Being an active person, I have discovered that immersing myself in nature not only brings clarity to my body, mind, and soul but also fuels my passion for supporting others on their healing journeys.

Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:

My approach is child-centered, holistic, and tailored to the unique needs and developmental stages of each individual. For younger clients, I incorporate play therapy, art therapy, and expressive techniques to foster creativity and facilitate self-expression. With adolescents and young adults, I draw upon evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help them navigate the complexities of their lives.

In our sessions, I strive to establish a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. I work closely with clients to identify their strengths, values, and goals, empowering them to take an active role in their own healing process. Together, we explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, developing healthy coping strategies and resilience to face life’s challenges. I firmly believe in the transformative power of self-awareness and self-compassion. Through our work together, I aim to help clients gain deeper insights into themselves, build emotional resilience, and cultivate positive relationships. My ultimate goal is to support each client’s journey towards personal growth, well-being, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own experiences, and I am here to support and empower you as an active participant in your healing journey. You can expect a non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself, without fear of being misunderstood or criticized. I firmly believe that each individual possesses unique strengths and untapped potential. I am honored to be a part of your transformative process and look forward to embarking on this collaborative journey with you. Together, we will navigate the intricacies of your unique story, harness your inherent strengths, and create a life that aligns with your authentic self.
