Treatment Orientation:

As a practitioner I have a strong reliance on person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy. As not all interventions work for everyone, I use a variety of therapeutic interventions that address specifically each client’s needs. Core to my treatment is building a relationship of trust and collaboration.

A Little About Me:

This is my first year here in Oregon and I have loved every part of it. I am a Bay Area, California native and have always lived in a big city. I love staying active and taking advantage of all of the outdoor options Oregon has to offer. My husband and I rescued a dog from Mexico while we were living in San Diego. I am passionate about helping others, staying active, and trying new things. My favorite part about this profession is the privilege and opportunity to meet and learn about the lives of resilient individuals.

My Philosophy:

It is impossible to go through life without adversity and pain. Often, these challenges can make us feel as if we have lost control of ourselves and the world around us. I believe that individuals have the power to gain positive control and self-direction of their own lives when taught the necessary tools to do so.  It is important that I meet each client where they are with a warm, unconditional positive regard in order to foster a safe and supportive environment.
