What to expect from our work together:
I feel privileged to hold the space for others to voice worries, stressors, pain, and challenges without judgment. During our first few appointments, you may hear me remind you that I understand trust is earned and not something I am entitled to, even as a therapist. I value rapport building and see it as necessary for others to feel safe to show their authentic selves. I do my best to find a balance between meeting you where you are while also gently challenging you to grow when you feel ready to do so.

A Little About Me:
I grew up in the Bay Area, California and believe that the weather on the west coast is unmatched! I moved to Oregon with my husband, who is an Oregon native, and our two rescue dogs. I completed my Masters degree in San Diego where I also worked with the city’s large homeless, veteran population. This reinforced my passion for trauma work. In my spare time, I enjoy doing something active or watching a good movie with a big bowl of popcorn – balance!

My Philosophy:

I believe that individuals have the power to gain positive control and self-direction of their own lives when taught the necessary tools to do so. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship needs to be fostered on trust and unconditional positive regard for each client. I employ an eclectic approach shaped by everyone’s unique needs. I value and often utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Inner Child work.
