Counseling Services Offered

Individual counseling; Children Ages 6+, Teens, & Adults any age

In my work I apply an eclectic approach to therapy as opposed to prescribing to one theory or orientation.  I utilize a more pragmatic approach that will fit the individual human being that comes before me with their particular struggle.  For some, therapy may focus on processing past experiences (insight oriented), while for others the focus may be on developing coping skills (DBT) challenging thoughts and interrupting behavior patterns (CBT), or setting goals for change.

Treatment modalities include talk-therapy, art and play therapy, sand tray work, meditation, homework, parent-child interaction therapy, and more.  I am always eager in broadening my approaches to therapy and work to find the tools and approaches that match my clients individuality

About Me

I am the mother of two children, ages 13 and 5.  While a native of California, I came to Oregon for school, and decided to make this my home.

I have spent the last 25 years working at Jasper Mountain, an incredible treatment program for severely abused and emotionally disturbed children. Through this experience I was able to work with youth, parents, and young adults in accessing healing, grounding, & more joy.

During my free time I enjoy hiking, Cross-fit, and outdoor adventures. I love to travel and watch my children grow.

Insurance Accepted

Trillium OHP & Self-Pay

Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about unbecoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.
