About Me:

I grew up in the Midwest and relocated to Oregon to plant my roots and continue the meaningful work of helping people. I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years in many different professional roles which has provided me with meaningful experience through engaging people to grow and achieve their goals. Through this experience I have worked with various populations from different cultures, backgrounds, and personal struggles. These
populations include developmental and intellectual disabilities, refugees, children and families, and adolescents. I am a dog Mom and enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, soccer, and music. Being outside is my happy place.

Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:

Everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve inner peace and acceptance of self to live their best life. I believe everyone has the capability to heal, change, and obtain interpersonal growth. While this journey is often a difficult one I will join you; to challenge, support, and guide you along the
way. Personal growth and change through self-assessment can bring up many unpleasant and difficult feelings; therapy is an investment and commitment to self. My approach is individualized with the belief that you are the expert of yourself. In my work I regularly use these typed of therapy; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy.

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of
love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity.

It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity.

If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives,
vulnerability is the path.”
